With over 30 years of experience with bike rental on Rallarvegen we know what works (and doesn't work).
As a rental our most important task is having bikes that can sustain the hard use on the decent from Vatnahalsen. Thats why most of our bikes are custom built with quality parts suited for the route. The Rallar bikes are equipped with thicker spokes, durable chains, tires, luggage carrier and hydraulic disc brakes.
We also have a Electric bikes, kids bikes, trolleys and tag a longs.
Our team of bike mechanics service the bikes after each trip so you can be sure that the bike is in great conditions when you pick it up.

Rallar Haugastøl Unisex
Special made for Rallarvegen in cooperation with the Norwegian bike manufacturer DBS.
The bike is equipped with Shimano SLX gear (11 gears), powerful hydraulic Deore disc brakes and front suspension with 110mm travel.
Lightweight aluminum frame with a touring geometry suited for Rallarvegen.
The bike has a robust 27.5 " anti-puncture CST Jack Rabbit tires. This gives a very low chance for a flat tire on your trip.
Planning on bringing luggage? Rallar Haugastøl is equiped with a luggage carrier that is suitable for use with bicycle bags.
Bottle cage and front/back mudguard is also standard on this model.
Flat pedals (no SPD)
Largest size is 53cm, suitable for riders up to approx 192-195cm riders.

Rallar Haugastøl Electric
After many years of testing we have finally made what we believe is the perfect electric bike for Rallarvegen. The bike is made for touring with upright seating position, comfortable seat and Shimanos brand new EP8 drive unit that truly makes all uphills non existent.

Battery: 504 Wh (Range is up to 90km, but this varies depending on the weight of the cyclist, luggage and what setting you the bike to)
